We are currently searching for a (German speaking) Executive Chef for an iconic landmark 5-star property in Germany, owned and operated by the same family for many generations.
This is a 5-star hotel, featuring both a nationally acclaimed high-end restaurant as well as heavy MICE business.
Requirements: EU-passport, fluent German (written/spoken) as well as English, excellent management skills to lead a large team, understanding how to manage a high-end restaurant and volume MICE, full understanding of the economics of the kitchen (P&L KPI's and labour cost/legislation), mature personality, ambition to get settled in Germany to stay.
This is a role where the hotel requires the Chef to assume full responsibility for the financial performance of his department, and accept a performance-management approach of management en-par Hilton, Marriott and Co. - yet having a mindset of an independent restaurateur who knows his P&L inside out.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete an assessment interview.
